It’s been a while since Ryan and I have shot a family wedding. We are so excited to share with you this wedding with Ryan’s cousin, Jessica and her new husband, Matt at Darby Farm!
Ahhhh…. My first wedding Postpartum. People thought I was crazy for having a wedding planned just a month from my daughter’s due date but I had a good feeling about it all. I have recovered quickly and felt super ready to shoot a wedding again. I’m so glad it could be for Matt and Jessica – family.
Jessica is Ryan’s cousin who we recently got close with. We see her, Matt and the rest of the family at holidays. Matt is always reserved and quiet on those days, unless you get him talking about sports or video games😆 But on his wedding day, his true personality came out and we loved getting to meet THAT side of him. His personal vows to Jessica were so sweet and showed how true their relationship was. It ended with, “I love you so much, much, much” accompanied by a little dance of the hips together. He left a voicemail to her a while back with that little song and it’s been a thing in their relationship ever since. SO CUTE.
Jess’ Grandad married them at the beautiful altar of Darby Farm, she wore her Mamal’s 59-year-old necklace given to her at HER wedding by Grandad and Matt’s best man was his dad. I love when couples have those personal aspects to their wedding day. I have so many favorites, including some more shots with the FujiFilm so let’s get right into it!
