George and Tatum met in Iowa on March 17th (my birthday🥹) and George proposed three years later at Zion National Park with a gorgeous view in the background. I couldn’t imagine holding the ring in your pocket while hiking #TheAnxiety!! Their dog, Calvin joined us later in the night too for some really cute pictures – even one of him smiling!!!!
We are stoked to capture their wedding in November at The Carlouel Yacht Club. Here are some of my favorites from their Sand Key Engagement session!
It was SO SO SO cloudy this night. Like, I’m surprised it didn’t rain once. A few years ago, I learned when it’s cloudy, you don’t have free range to pose your clients anywhere. You have to have them face the sun so there are no dark circles under the eyes and their faces are well – lit. The photo above is a major example of that! Look how well – lit Tatum’s face is😊 So no matter what, even if it’s really dark and cloudy, you can still achieve photos that look well – lit.
I LOVE BOTH OF THESE PICTURES! Always have been a sucker for macro ring shots and not only is Tatum’s ring beautiful and classic, it pops off really well from the background🙌🏼
