Geoff and Sam met at a bar where he bartended and before introducing himself to Sam, he just went over and kissed her!
They’re both from St. Louis but moved here to Tampa last year and are getting married back in their home state! I’m so thankful we could snag a few engagement photos at Cypress Point Park last weekend πThey’ve been smitten with each other since 2016 and are finally tying the knot soon! How did he propose? They were at home, it was super simple yet SO sweet and he asked her to marry him with her grandmother’s gorgeous diamond.
They have such a unique story and are really cool people. I really enjoyed our time together walking around Cypress Point Park and watching airplanes fly right above our heads. Here are just some of my absolute favs from their session!!

One of the coolest parts about Cypress Point Park is the fact that it’s neighboring the Tampa International Airport. So every couple minutes, a plane literally flies RIGHT above your head!
Hardly ever do you get to see the bottom of an airplane. It’s so fascinating to me LOL. I even got there early to location scout and watch a few planes fly by while tracking where they came from with a Flight Tracker app π
Okay… let me explain. While we were their taking engagement photos, we passed a couple doing maternity photos! Geoff has a very outgoing personality and started chatting with this guy (the husband). After about 25 minutes go by, we pass them again and Geoff makes some more comments to him and they’re laughin’. Then the guy says, “Come on over here, man!!” Then that happened πAhhhh gotta love it.
