After having to postpone for two months due to the pandemic, Katie and Jacob finally got to tie the knot at their Estate on the Halifax Wedding!
Katie and Jacob have known each other basically their entire lives as Katie was friends with his sister, Rebecca growing up. They would always see each other and frankly, weren’t fond of each other for a while! Then something changed over 4 years ago and they started to really like each other. I met Katie in the Fall of 2016 (fairly soon after she started dating Jacob) when I rushed our Christian sorority and fell in love with how sweet she is! We kept waiting on the day Jacob would propose to her. Then one day I got a message from him via Facebook and KNEW.
He proposed on a St. Augustine beach and of course she said yes! Coincidentally, they were already planning on touring the Estate on the Halifax wedding venue that day and they immediately found their venue! We shot their engagement session back in St. Augustine (it’s their favorite little town) and just waited for their wedding day! It was supposed to rain for most of the day but it turned out perfect with sunny skies and a little wind. Katie’s momma walked her down the aisle. Her and Jacob exchanged vows in the white chapel and celebrated the rest of the night with their family and friends!
