I met Katie in middle school band and we were in band together all the way up to my Junior year of high school! She has been a passionate baker for years and would bring us all a new homemade pastry every Friday to enjoy at lunch. Now, she’s the head Baker at William Dean Chocolate! Later, you’ll see her and Royal wanted to incorporate a lot of personal touches to their Tampa Bay Watch wedding – one of them being William Dean Chocolate favors for the guests and the wedding cake? Katie made herself!!
Katie and Royal have known of each other almost their whole lives. They were even in the same 1st grade class for a while, isn’t that cute?? They didn’t realize they lived only about a mile away from each other growing up until they started talking on an online dating app a few years ago. Now, they have officially tied the knot surrounded by the most special people to them.
So many sweet moments I’m really excited to share with you today. There are some film-like photos from my FujiFilm!! Let’s get into some of my favorites from this wedding day. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Travis!
Thank you to the Vendor team who helped make this day possible.

You’re able to tell which was taken on the FujiFilm with the photos that have a caption underneath that says, “Shot on FujiFilm x T30ii – custom recipe – no edit”. It’s neat to see some compared to their digital friend! The FujiFilm photos have absolutely ZERO editing! They’re taken the way they look here in the camera using a custom recipe I put in the settings (even the black and white images). It was super fun to experiment with this new camera!
Katie’s brother, Matt was featured in the ceremony playing traditional wedding songs on his ukulele🫶🏼
Love this spin on the traditional flower girls! Definitely wish we did something like this at our wedding. It’s so sweet!
Lastly, the night ended off with the Bride and Groom leaving in their getaway car – a 1964 Chevy Impala!
Thank you so much for having us, Katie and Royal. We loved getting to celebrate with you! Wishing you both every happiness.
