A Gainesville Elopement | Andrew + Emily

Posted in: Weddings

Andrew and Emily originally planned for their Gainesville elopement to be on April 3rd but this virus changed the plans SEVERAL times!

I’ve known Emily since middle school and I was so honored she reached out to me to shoot her elopement. Her and Andrew have been together for 3 years, he proposed the morning of their ceremony in her living room and it was so evident how much he adores Emily!

After the Florida governor announced an official stay-at-home order for all residents that began on the original date of their elopement, Andrew reached out and said everything was being moved to the day before to Emily’s backyard… It was SO SWEET! Emily wore a beautiful Lily Pulitzer dress, Andrew was barefoot and his mom made a gorgeous flower crown and bouquet for Emily. Wait ’til you see them!!

These are my absolute favorites from their Florida elopement!

Emily was one of the most calm brides I’ve ever worked with… Even despite how crazy everything was to put everything together quicker than expected, she was consistently grateful for everyone. I hope that’s how I am on my wedding day!

One of my favorite creative shots of the day 🙂

Such a sweet first look shared😍

Andrew’s dad was the one to marry them. I love when family members marry clients!!

Andrew’s pup was the ring bearer! So cute

In true Gainesville style, the place we went to for Just-Married portraits had an alligator just chillin’!

Love this post Gainesville Elopement? I think you’ll like this one too!
