A Protea Wedding | Michael + Jesselyn

So many couples getting married this year who started dating in the midst of C*vid… This one is a Protea Wedding in Ocala, FL with Michael and Jesselyn!

The Disney Princess herself, the girl who LOVES Taylor Swift and anything magical has finally tied the knot with her beau. I met Jesselyn in our Christian sorority at UCF. She has always had a truly bubbly personality ever since I met her. I couldn’t think of another man more perfect for her than Michael. He’s not afraid to be silly with her. You’ll see in these pictures when he looks at her – he just ADORES her. As she does to him. I loved being able to capture their love in this season – with not just their wedding but also the engagement session and even a throwback to Jesselyn’s UCF Rosen graduation.

THE GOLDEN BIRTHDAY GIRL

The Junior Bridesmaid, Charlotte had her 11th birthday on 11/11/2023 (the day of the wedding). Jesselyn is SO sweet and specifically asked before booking anything if Charlotte would be okay with their wedding being on her birthday. Charlotte replied, “Oh yeah that’s fine. But not like every year right?”🥹 Jesselyn really pulled out everything to make sure the birthday girl felt special. There was special decor on her seat at the table, cards and even birthday cake next to the wedding cake!

Michael’s family owns Fishhawk Spirits – Florida’s only Medal Winning Farm to Bottle Ultra-Premium Spirits Distillery. They supplied alcohol for the open bar!
