Opal Sands Resort, with its prime location on the Gulf of Mexico, set the stage for a Thomas and Emily’s stunning wedding.
They spent the morning with their best friends – drinking beer and hyping up to Cardi B. The setting sun cast a warm, golden glow over the ceremony with a slight breeze and resort guests watching down from their rooms
After a few years together, Tom asked Emily to marry him on the beach of the Bahamas. Then I had the privilege of taking their engagement pictures not only once but twice! It had been a long time coming for this wedding day. Let me tell you about some special parts of the day.
- Thomas’ Dad bought him a Rolex watch when he was a baby. That’s the watch he wore on the wedding day.
- Emily’s bouquet was wrapped with fabric from her mom’s wedding dress and veil!
- Thomas wore socks with a photo of little Em on them.
- Emily wore her mom’s gorgeous aquamarine diamond necklace – a symbol for 19 years of marriage given to her mom by her husband on THEIR 19th wedding anniversary.
- Speaking of Emily’s mom, she bought a wedding dress for Emily’s childhood stuffed piggy and surprised her with it the morning of the wedding.
- The best man, Josh, gifted the bride and groom with a live painter for their ceremony. What a unique gift! Can’t wait for you to see Cory Wright’s talent.
- The favors were scratch offs $$$
It was an honor to capture lifelong memories for The Hoewts. Let’s get into my favorites from this day. But first (as always), shoutout to the Vendor Team that truly made this day run smoothly!
